"I have worked with other trainers throughout the years who were all good, but in my opinion, nobody I have met has equaled Chris' approach or the skill that he possesses. At the beginning, if ever I came to a session with something hurting or "a little tight," Chris would have me do a few different movements and the pain would almost always go away. Fast forward to today and that happens less and less because I don't have any where near the amount of aches and pains that I had prior to working with him.
Through an assessment he identified muscle imbalances that I had, which Chris told me were causing me to sacrifice strength, calorie burn, and causing me pain. He was right, and with his guidance, I was able to correct them, allowing me to indeed lift more than I ever had, move better, and build lean muscle like I was 20 again. What was even more amazing to me was that I lost several inches off my stomach (my trouble area) as well as 15 pounds of body fat and Chris never had me do a single crunch or run a single mile! I used to think those were the keys to losing weight and losing my gut.
Rather than follow the cookie cutter fitness routine, he took into account what my body was telling me (it's amazing...done right, your body will literally tell you what exercises will give you the best result that day...I didn't believe it either before working with Chris) and made the most of it. Chris believes it's not about working harder, it's about working smarter. I am now a believer that "no pain, no gain" is just a myth...instead it's "good and proper movement = no pain and maximum results."
No matter who you are, what your goal, or what you've done in the past...I highly recommend Chris to be your personal trainer. It will be the best move you've made in a while, it was for me."

"I first met Chris in an interview. He was the Fitness Director at a Fitness Club and I was a relatively new trainer not happy with the job I had at the time, eager to show off my 'skills' at a much more reputable establishment. While I believed at the time that I was a fit and qualified candidate, Chris wowed me with his knowledge and ability to teach and I quickly realized how limited and broad my knowledge base was.
As all new trainers land a break at some point, Chris decided to hire me. I'll never be able to thank him enough for giving me an opportunity, for I learned more in 1 month training under him than I had an entire year working at my other job. With my new-found confidence and knowledge my schedule quickly filled up with clients and I was making positive changes in people's lives.
10 months later, another break. Chris was promoted and he recommended that I be his replacement as the Fitness Director/Head trainer of the center. Like all transitions in life, I had to learn to adapt. Well, this transition caught me off guard a little harder than I had anticipated. My 36 hour work week turned into a 60 hour work week and the load of responsibility and stress of learning a new position really took a toll on my exercise and eating habits.
Within 4 months of being promoted I went from 116 lbs to 134 lbs. I was extremely unhappy, to say the least. I found myself losing confidence in not just my appearance, but also in my work performance. The less confident and more unhappy I felt, the harder it was to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I needed help, (yes, trainers need trainers), and I knew exactly who I was going to.
While I had a staff of great trainers to work with, I simply just didn't trust anyone the way I trusted Chris. I knew I could feel comfortable talking to him about my goals and that he would get me there the fastest and safest way possible so I reached out to him...and guess what? He did just that.
In less than 3 months of working with Chris twice a week, I was back on track at 116 pounds and was feeling BETTER than I had before putting on weight. I had increased my lean muscle mass, increased strength (I can now do 5 pull-ups...before I couldn't even do 1!) and lost several inches. The best part was that everybody noticed the change!
It wasn't a secret who the mastermind was either. One day my general manager approached me saying, 'Patrice! You look great! Are you training with Chris?' Not only did people notice my profound changes, people KNEW exactly who was responsible for my healthy and improved lifestyle without me saying anything because that is what Chris is known throughout the company for, getting results.
Chris guided me through what I would mark an emotional, mental, and physical journey, one that I can actually say that I truly enjoyed. I believe what has kept my accomplished goals sustained was the idea that it's not about the destination, it's about learning to enjoy the journey. I always believed this but Chris helped me focus on it again. If you can love yourself in any physical state and learn to live happily in the moment, your success will last forever.
I now feel more confident and empowered than ever before, and it has shown in all aspects of my life...professionally and socially and I have Chris once again to thank. I would encourage anyone who needs help like I did to work with Chris. He is so brilliant and evokes such warmth, strength, and wisdom into the sessions. If you want to make a change in how you look and feel, you want to work with Chris."
